Bedrooms, not en-suite. 6 sets of showers and toilets on each floor, about 27 rooms per floor
TV in room, terrestrial channels only. No kettle in room.
Maximum 3 people in each room, each room has one double and one bunk bed.
Internet
No access to Internet.
Food
English breakfast £7.50/day/person (optional) – at IBIS hotel
But note that we are providing a (limited numbers) Breakfast Buffet at the TechnoCentre for delegates who do not have breakfast at their accommodation. This is courtesy of our sponsors, Wingware.
Parking
£3 per 24 hours. (Park at the conference venue for free)
Prices
We have negotiated a room rate of £17.00 per room, for Bed only.

We have rooms held at this rate until 10th September, after that you will have to take pot luck.
We don't think that you'll get a cheaper hotel in Coventry, but bear in mind that it is a budget hotel.
Update to update
I have questioned this with the hotel manager, Joanna. She is adamant that the £17 rate is correct, she said:
Do the guests explain that this is part of Pycon group booking for 23rd Sep when calling? If that is not explained then receptionist would quote standard rate.
I can assure you that both(ie both Formule1 and Ibis) rates are set up on the system. I will reinforce the message with the team. However, I trust that shall the Pycon name of group booking be given, there should be no other option as the rates are already set up for this booking. The guests just literally need to add their names onto reservation.
update: that price is not available
Called that number listed, and found that the price is not available. It was available for £23.00 per night.
Note : The £17.00 rate is correct, see above. Make sure that the receptionist understands that you are booking for PyCon UK
